What a great journal!
I work with 4th graders in a small group. We focus on social/emotional issues and work on improving their overall mental health. I bought each member one of these journals. They were thrilled. The moms who looked at them in my presence loved them. What I really love about them is that sometimes it’s hard for 4th graders to put their thoughts into writing and they’d rather draw something – this journal gives them that opportunity. Each journal entry also has a quick one-line thought they can respond to with one word and they are all wonderful thought-provoking prompts. Finally, there is a quick smiley face rating for each day. So really, if the child is tired, it can be a very easy thing to complete – they could skip the 3 things they are thankful for but do a little drawing and then go on to the one word response to the prompt at the bottom and the quick smiley face rating. New habits need to be easy and fun for them to be sustainable – this journal helps with that! Additionally, I reached out to the author who responded quickly and with so much kindness, offering a few free printable things that I know my girls will enjoy.

Great way to teach gratitude to kiddos
Gratitude is one of the best thing to teach to a child- and this journal helps with it!My four years old love writing journal after dinner. We talk about what happened during the day, and think about what she’s thankful for. I know that by doing this exercise, her attitude will get better, her character will develop, and it will make her a stronger person :)Also, it is helping her writing too! She loves write what she’s grateful for, and draw in the middle rectangle 🙂 thank you for this great journal! <3

Journal fits description
Every day it asks them to write something down they are grateful for, how they are feeling, and one thing a little more specific at the bottom. It does repeat itself, but I see no harm in this as every day is different. At the end of a week, they have a page to draw, doodle, write whatever they want to. I bought this for my 8 and 11 year old children as I feel they need to learn to be more grateful for what they have and what they are given.

I thought it had daily messages for kids
Just a plain book. I thought it had daily messages or something else for kids. Its basically empty for your kid to fill in. I guess its ok for the price. Not for me since I do not live in the States and had to pay for shipping. Not worth it for me.

Purchased for step daughter 10. We keep getting locked down. (Stupid covid) So trying to help her figure out her emotions. This is helping her do it in privacy.
