Great for the price point
I recently bought the XBLGX Compression Packing Cubes 5‑Set and I’m impressed. If you travel frequently and pack clothes of all types—tops, bottoms, underwear, maybe a sweater or two—this set has been a major help for me.What I liked:• The set includes 5 different sized cubes, which means I could assign one specifically for underwear & socks, one for T-shirts, one for pants/jeans, one for a sweater or jacket, and another for miscellaneous gear. This size variety is exactly what travel-gear experts recommend: “use small for underwear, medium for T-shirts, large for pants and sweaters” to maximize organization. • The compression aspect is real. Once I packed a bunch of stuff into the larger cube and zipped it down, the bulge went way down and I freed up extra space in my suitcase. It felt like I’d gained a bit of extra room. (Many reviews of compression packing cubes point out they help “save space inside your pack”.) • Quality feels solid: the material is sturdy, the zippers run smoothly, and it doesn’t feel like I’m going to rip something if I overpack a bit. That gives me confidence it’ll last for many trips.• It’s great for keeping things organized on the road. Instead of my clothes being a jumbled mess, I know exactly where my “pants” cube is, my “underwear/socks” cube is, etc. That makes unpacking when I arrive so much easier.What could be better / things to note:• Compression can lead to extra creasing if you pack delicate/wrinkle-prone garments. If you’re stuffing a silk blouse into a tightly compressed cube, you might find it more creased than if you’d laid it flat.• Because of the different sizes, some of the smaller cubes in the set ended up being under-utilized for me—if you pack fairly light, you might not need all the pieces, or you might end up using two sizes for similar items.• As with any organizational gear, you still need to set up your system (which cube = which items) and stick with it; the way that you fit them in to your suitcase can make or break how much space you are saving.

Works great
This worked better than expected. Initially I thought they seemed thin and would not work, but they did the job and definitely saved space compared to regular packing cubes. The stitching seemed to be at its limits and I’m not sure how long they’ll hold up since they are thin, thus the reason for 4 stars.

Bought for traveling and storage separation
I bought this to compress my clothes and give me more space when traveling. However, I don’t really know if there really is much of a compression effect as it feels quite similar. However, I do enjoy the base purpose of this, which I can sort my clothes daily and bundle my clothes as a set rather than just throwing all into my luggage. Also, I don’t think I was really unreasonable with packing but I felt like the seams were starting to burst so I didn’t fill it up with clothes before doing the 2nd “compression” zip because I did not want to break these bags.

Broken zippers while traveling. Good concept
Husband and I were going on a cruise. I bought two sets.He decided he did not want to use them. I used them.Things were nicely folded and fit well while they were expanded. When zipping down to be compressed down there was a n bit of a squishing down issue.I did have one zipper break before even leaving for vacation. My thought was…ok its happens, I have 2 sets.Then while on vacation I had 2 zippers break.I did not keep opening and closing them. I unpacked them upon arriving and repacked then when leaving.They are a nice concept and nice idea. I DO NOT THINK THEY ARE FOR ME!And with 3 zippers breaking. I would not purchase these again!
