A lot of extras
The short version is that for the money and what is in the package It’s a decent deal. I think the quality of some of the components or mediocre but basically it gets the job done. More detail to follow.My primary goal was to get one of those tools to wash the windshield and the back window of the car that did not require me to get in a really awkward position and would at the same time improve efficiency and reduce effort. Both of the hand tools provided are very inexpensive plastic. That said with care I think they could probably last a good while anyway and on the upside they’re quite lightweight.The detail brushes are more than you will ever need. I’ll probably give some to a neighbor or two, maybe the kit is designed for someone who is in the business of detailing and not the average car owner. I think the little spray bottle is not really necessary, most people are going to have their own spray bottle of cleaner, unless it’s designed for someone to mix up some sort of deodorizer. I’m not going to use it for anything related to this kit, I’ll probably use it to mist my plants. Also almost every component is wrapped in plastic which is really not necessary. I mean you’re going to clean your car with it it doesn’t need to be sterile so that’s just a waste of plastic and packaging.I received all the components as pictured in the listing, 5 round detail brushes, 2 flatter and softer detailed brushes, a wider flatter brush that would function like a whisk broom, dashboard duster and windshield cleaner tool,2 cleaning clothes, spray bottle and a drawstring bag.As I mentioned, my primary purpose for ordering the kit was because I’ve always wanted one of these windshield cleaning tools. It comes with two cloth covers that have elastic around the edges so that they can easily slip on and off the tool for when you want to wash them between uses. For me it seems that the windows still ended up streaky after using it. The first thing I did to try and correct that was to put both of the cloth “socks”on the tool thinking that perhaps the tool wasn’t making adequate contact with the windshield and it need a little padding underneath it to make better contact. However it still seemed like my windshield was streaky even though I cleaned it twice and tried a different cleaner both of which I felt worked adequately before. So then I thought there might be some residue on the cloth and so I washed them both. Still even though it seems a little bit better it still seems like my windows are a little streaky so I’m not sure what’s going on there but it’s definitely much easier to clean my windshield with this versus my old way of just struggling with a handful of paper towels. Overall I’m satisfied with the kit since there are so many extras it’s hard to be disappointed. The drawstring bag is especially helpful for keeping it all in one place.
