women's pedometer watchwomen's pedometer watch Irregular motion lowers accuracy

Optimize step accuracy

For example: When using a walker, doing household chores, pushing a shopping cart,or using a treadmill, the wrist wearing the device may remain relatively stationary or occasionally move.If the 10-second calibration is triggered, the device will temporarily store step data; only after continuous movement exceeding 10 seconds will the accumulated steps be officially recorded. If the activity pauses before reaching 10 seconds, the temporarily stored data will not be added to the total step count.

What does “SHIP” mean on my fitness pedometer watch? Does it need a new battery?

“SHIP” means shipping mode. Press and hold the buttons at 2 and 8 o’clock simultaneously to activate it. No battery change is needed — it uses a CR2032 battery with roughly a one-year lifespan.

How do I switch the step and time display positions?

Hold the 4 o’clock button for 3 seconds to toggle their positions.

Why is step count inaccurate when using a walker, shopping cart, stroller, cycling, or doing housework?

These activities involve minimal or irregular arm movement (e.g., when using a walker, your arm may not swing enough to be detected), which interrupts the 10-second counting rule and may cause undercounting.

Why does the step counter start counting steps only after 10 seconds?

It only records after 10 seconds of continuous motion to filter out non-walking movements and improve accuracy.

How do I turn off the button sound on my walking pedometer watch?

Press and hold the 10 o’clock button to enter settings. Then press the 8 o’clock button repeatedly until “Key” flashes. Use the 2 o’clock button to turn the sound on/off, and press the 10 o’clock button to exit.

Low Tech Budget Friendly Pedometer Watch
I was looking for a simple solution to replace my Fitbit. I decided to give the Hearkent Women Pedometer Watch a try and I am so glad I did. I wanted the benefits of tracking steps and telling time without needing to sync with a device or recharge. This product was a simple option for me to track my daily steps. It arrived safely and was professionally packaged. It came with easy-to-follow instructions on how to use each function. I love that it automatically resets my steps at midnight. I also found it to be comfortable to wear. It gives me the benefits I needed from my old device without the need to be high tech. And at a cost that fit my budget.

    Awesome and easy
I love this!! No app, no EMF’s. The pedometer is so good. I am amazed to see that I walk over 10,000 steps a day on average. You can make the pedometer big or switch and make the clock big. It shows the day of the week and the date. This is my new favorite thing. The band is easy to adjust — just take it slow at first until you understand how it works. The stop watch is nice. I haven’t figured out how to change the time on the “count down” function, yet, but I am sure I will.

    Holds up, great watch/pedometer!
This is exactly what I was looking for. A watch that would give me the date/time, but also count my steps without being “connected.” This watch has exceeded my expectations. I have worn it in the pool and the ocean with no issues. I work out with it, work all day with it and even sleep with it on. The fabric band is wonderful as well bc I haven’t gotten any irritation like I do with the plastic ones. If you want a reliable watch and pedometer, without all the other technology, this is it!

Reliable Steps, No Bluetooth Needed—But Sizing Matters
This pedometer watch nails what I needed at work: accurate step tracking without any Bluetooth. It’s a solid upgrade from the unreliable clip-on I used before, and having both the time and my step count on my wrist keeps me motivated. One hiccup—the wristband was too big, so I had to buy a replacement. Still, it’s stylish and effective enough that a coworker got one after seeing mine. Small hassle, big win overall.

Great watch with a pedometer, not a smartwatch (exactly what I was looking for)
Watch is exactly what I was looking for. It’s not a smartwatch but has a pedometer that tracks my steps daily. The nylon band is elevated compared to the silicone ones. I like the look of the metal clasp and it seems to be holding up well so far. I love the black color as it goes with most outfits. The watch face is clear and easy to read. It displays the time, day, date, and steps on it. I like that I can set an alarm and easily get to a stopwatch. It also has a light for when it’s dark. Set up was simple, and it came with instructions. The battery came in a shipping mode and it was off when it arrived. The instructions walk you through how to turn it on. Hopeful that makes the battery last!

  6. Kathie Hoes

    Comfortable to wear.
This is a nice watch! I had to replace a galaxy, but all I wanted was a step tracker. This watch tracks my steps perfectly. Fits great and looks nice.

  7. Norma B.

Does everything I need it to do.
It’s an attractive, comfortable non-smart watch and I love it! I got the black band with the silver bezel on the watch face. It was easy to set and is easy to read. The best part is that I don’t have to have a subscription, get emails, charge it up, or have an app! The step counter sometimes misses some, but it’s close enough for me. The night light works really well. It was an excellent choice for me.

  8. Meiko

Great watch for watch features, decent pedometer.
TL;DR Great watch for time features and, a decent pedometer to track medium – high amounts of activity, not good for low activity. Comfy strap and a good adjusting feature. Great for all wrist sizes.Decent watch, I was looking for a watch with simple time features and a pedometer just for the interest of how many steps I take at work as a server. For the time features it works well, I enjoy the fact they have the option to have the watch beep every hour. No issues with time features. As for the pedometer, I wasn’t expecting it to be too accurate due to holding trays and working a lot with my hands, however, it is honestly the most accurate whilst I am at work only being a few hundred off from my phone app, sometimes up by 100 or even down by 100. However, if I have an at-home day with low activity, it can be off by thousands due to sitting a lot and doing something with my hands. However, at home, I often forget my phone around, yet it can still be highly inaccurate due to the extreme difference in steps it records.

Used it for a week now and I love it. Seem to count ok. I don’t care if it’s off of 50 or 100 steps (if it’s the case I don’t know I didn’t count every step myself) I just want to know approximately how many steps I take cause I just learned that if you walk at least 7000 steps a day, there’sgood benefits to your body. So yeah, it does the job for that. Plus it’s kinda good looking, comfy and easy to use. (Well explained in the pamphlet)

  10. Judith McDougall

Very happy with the purchase of this watch. Order was fulfilled quickly and item was as described. I was tired of watches that beep when they need charging, need a downloaded app in order to make changes, tell me that I have not had enough sleep or that I am not drinking enough water. This watch fits the bill for me – it accurately displays the time and date and provides me with the number of steps I have achieved on a daily basis. Once the elastic strap is adjusted it is easy to put the watch on and off. The watch is secure but comfortable.

  11. Connie

Comfortable to wear, looks nice enough, does the job. The only thing I am very disappointed about is that there is a maximum number of steps, which is not mentioned anywhere in the product description but was on the instructions received with the product. If I remember correctly, the maximum is 39,000 or is it 39,999. This seems quite low to me, since I sometimes get 30,000+ steps per day (my personal best is around 36,000), and would expect to be able to do more on occasion as my fitness increases. I don’t understand why it couldn’t go to 99,999 (if there’s only space for 5 digits). I especially don’t understand why this information isn’t included in the product description.

  12. jennymc

This watch is exactly what I wanted. All I need is to track steps and it tracks them perfectly. It is a nice looking watch as well. I have extremely small wrists and I was afraid it wouldn’t adjust small enough but it does. It took me alittle while to figure out the settings but once you get the hang of it it is pretty simple!

  13. M. Richard Ottawa

Perfect my small wrist. Easy to use. Date, time, steps. Stopwatch, countdown, alarm functions. Option to chime every hour. I love the simplicity of this watch. It is exactly what I was looking for. No smart features/phone/Bluetooth. Love it!
