Works for tantos
These worked well to clean my two tantos. I do wish they included more microfiber cloths. There is only one and you really do need more. The bottles did not leak. The oil does smell really strong, but it works I guess. The kit itself is pretty easy to use, and if you don’t know how then YouTube has some very helpful videos. I’d say it’s a good buy.

I was really impressed with the Katana Cleaning Kit. It came with everything I needed to properly clean and maintain my katana sword. The set includes a cleaning oil, rice paper, a brass awl, a small hammer, and a soft cloth for polishing. The sword choji oil worked really well to protect and maintain the blade. The quality of the materials was very good and I could tell that a lot of care was put into the design of this kit. I also appreciated the detailed instructions that came with the kit, which made it easy to use even for someone who is not experienced in sword maintenance.I like this kit for the quality of the materials and how easy it is to use. The sword choji oil worked to protect their katana sword. I also appreciated the included instructions and found them helpful. Pretty good value for what comes in it.
Comes with just about everything you would need to take care of the katana. It’s functional, easy to use, great for the price, and doesn’t smell bad. I know not a lot of folks care about that, but a few of my friends have told me the deal breaker for some, I guess? Get this.
