Perfect for the electronically challenged
I wanted the simplest pedometer imaginable, one that would count steps and that’s it. Nothing complicated. This pedometer fits the bill exactly. It is small, sleek and fits nicely into the pocket. My husband wears his in his sock! The digital numbers are large and clearly visible at a glance. In my 70s and intimidated by state-of-the-art electronics, I was unsure of the instructions on how to activate the battery and get started once the pedometer was received. My email pursuit of help from ozo’s customer service was responded to immediately, the representative extraordinarily personable, patient and helpful — so rare and welcome in this day and age. If simple, easy, small, and no-bells-and-whistles efficient is what you seek in a pedometer, this one’s for you.

Great for Seniors!
I bought this for my 89 yr old mom and it is perfect! She has had others with more features, but they had a lot of buttons and had to be re-set every time the batteries were changed…much too difficult for her to see and maneuver! This is easy to read, counts every step and every pedal on her tricycle…yes, she does ride one….and it actually inspires her to walk more each day! I am very happy, as is she. And it is ready to use right out of the box.

Perfect at first!
I wanted one thing and one thing only: count my steps! That’s all this does! Three ways to wear it! Light and small. That’s all I needed and it delivers! Easy as pie! Great price! It’s working for me!I have used this device for a month now, and I do have one complaint: at night, I set it to zero, but often when I have grabbed it & put it in my pocket, I realize later that there are way too many steps compared to my activity! Now, even tho I have set it to zero, I have to make sure it is still on zero in the morning!P.S. I still love it!12/2/21 Another month & still the problem exists! I just have to make sure to check it daily!

A nice little gadget useful for keeping track of fitness goals
I had a watch/step tracker/ blood pressure monitor type watch that I liked, but the little led light in it burned a small circular spot on the back of my wrist after 8 months. I had to stop using it. I bought this one, which came with a lanyard. I was only really interested in keeping track of steps in the first place, so I know where I am every day. This thing works just fine for my purposes, which is to track how much walking I do every day. It was cheap to buy and is fairly accurate. This works for me. If what you are doing is walking for health reasons this is an economical and useful gadget for that purpose.

Unfortunately not very good
I bought this to work as a pedometer to track my steps as I need to get to a certain number of steps per day. My phone is too big to put in my pocket. This looked like a great item and worked great for a few days. Then it stopped working. I was in the middle of doing my daily steps and looked to see how I was coming along and had a completely black screen. I took the battery out and put it back in and it worked for about 1 1/2 weeks and did the same thing. I returned it and got a new one. Same problem. After a few days, I had the black screen, unresponsive. There is a reset button which got it working again but in the meantime, I had no record of the steps I had done for at least 1/2 hour. I don’t want something I have to reset regularly to get it to track my steps. I’m returning this one and will look for a better product.

Great size – very accurate. Love the large digits.

Liked it, but wished it was more accurate.
The pedometer is easy to use and read but very inaccurate in counting steps. It is smooth and fits nicely in your pocket (or bra). On the downside, it overcounts depending where it’s located on the body and who is wearing it. However, it overcounts consistently, so once you figure out how many steps it counts for every 10 steps, it’s easy math to figure out your real step count. There’s a note in the user paperwork about “vibration” contributing to extra steps, and it does seem to add more steps when worn on the fatter parts of my body (like my back pocket). It seemed to be more accurate on the thin members of our family who have less jiggle. 🙂 But that’s just my hypothesis.

Excellent product!
I got this because I lost my wrist step counter. It is much simpler – it just counts steps but it has some great features and actually tracks more steps than my wrist thing. You can carry it in a pocket or purse and it will count steps just the same. I put it on the cord that came with it, and wore it around my neck like a necklace – under my shirt so nobody knew I had it on. This has the benefit of counting every step – the one on my wrist won’t count those bazillion steps when I am pushing a grocery cart, stroller, or wheelchair. The numbers are large and very easy to read, even though it does not light up. One drawback is that you have to clear the step count and manually reset to zero either at the end of the day or the beginning of the new day. It does one thing and it does it well. If all you want is to count your steps, this is an outstanding product.

We ended up ordering this so my wife could count her steps while she was admitted to the hospital. Pedometer was very easy to setup, just pull the battery tab out and away you go.One thing we noticed after the first day or so is that it takes a good 10-20 steps uninterrupted before the pedometer really starts to count. My wife tried pacing back and forth in the hospital room, but the pedometer wasn’t picking up anything if she didn’t get a good 10-20 steps in.That being said, I’m sure not many people are buying this to walk 10-20 steps and expecting to see results… For people that are going for long walks/runs, this pedometer is worth every penny for tracking your steps.Great purchase. Highly recommended.

Cannot use for intermittent walking. The walking must be constant for it to record properly.I bought this because I wanted a simple pedometer just to measure how many steps I was taking throughout the day walking around my home and garden. I don’t go on long walks because of a knee injury but felt I was still getting a lot of activity in walking around my large kitchen and home all day. I needed an accurate count because my doctor wanted me to up my activity. It is very easy to use. It comes with a clip and a lanyard to string about your neck so it can work if you carry it in a pocket, clipped to your waist or shirt or even, the listing claims, in a purse or pocket. The listing claims high accuracy. This claim is not upheld in use. It’s easy to use. I activated this (simply pull the white battery tab out) and clipped it onto my waist and it started working. However, it measured about half the steps. I was sometimes striding briskly, and sometimes stopping and starting after a step or two. It wasn’t measuring half of the steps even when in continuous motion. So I put it around my neck – same. It stayed at 87 and recorded no more despite me walking twenty steps. Then stayed at 165 and recorded no more steps. I walked forty eight more steps and it didn’t budge. I sat down to look over the manual again and then noticed it doesn’t work for intermittent walking. NOWHERE did it say that in the listing or I wouldn’t have bought it.If you want to go go on a continuous walk then sure, give it a try. Not sure it would record all your steps even that way. I cannot recommend this product.

I have been wearing the OZO fitness pedometer on my daily 1.5 hr. trail walks. To test OZO’s accuracy, I started my Pod’s fitness app at the same time. Each time, the OZO and the iPod were within a few steps of each other so the OZO does provide accurate information. I like the strength of the clip on the OZO. It properly secures the pedometer to my clothing. I like the bright color options ( I have blue). If the OZO did fall off, the bright color would help me to locate it – unlike standard black pedometers. It takes a bit of pressure on the button at the back to reset it which helps to prevent accidental resets. Convenient versus my iPod since I do not have to recharge the OZO pedometer. Very satisfied overall!
