The best smart strip
I have multiple of these. They work great. I mainly use them for scheduling and auto shutting off things like TVs and lights.The setup is super easy in there app. And the scheduling and timer are also very easy to set. You can also rename all the plugs and the area and “Home/location” very easily to organize if you have multiple outlets. There is also a favorites section that you can stick your most used plugs into to make it easier to find if you have a lot of plugs.The price is a little more than normal power strips with surge protection. But to get the smart features it’s more than worth it and I think a good value. It’s also Alexa and Google Home compatible.I recommend getting the strip versus the individual plugs because it’s more economical and always better to have more outlets than less.

Bigger than expected
After adding this to the Tapo app i was able to link the account to Home Assistant. Each of the 3 outlets can be used independently in HA. Its also very quick and responsive in HA.The strip was bigger than i was expecting. This is not really an issue, it was just unexpected. On the plus side, with the larger size the outlets are spread apart which allows larger plugs to fit next to each other.I am using this outside in a waterproof box to control our holiday inflatables. With the larger size of the strip I did need to get a larger box to fit the strip. Again, not an issue, just something to be mindful of. Even with the strip outside in a box it has been reliable and has had no connectivity issues.

Must Have Alternative for Smart Bulbs
Smart plugs are a necessity if you don’t have a smart bulb, which can get costly very quickly. I live by Kasa smart plugs for outlets in my home that don’t have a smart bulb! They’re so convenient and easy to set up in the app. I purchased this one for my office to auto turn-on my lamp in the early morning, but also have options to control other plugs (e.g., charger, heating pad, etc.). They don’t overheat, and provide a safety mechanism because you can shut off the power if you think you’ve forgotten to unplug something. The price was definitely worth the money for convenience, peace of mind, and versatility.

Works amazingly there’s no setup if you don’t want to setup the WiFi connectivity works straight out of the box. USB ports stay on so you don’t have to toggle them on and off so it’s perfect for your phone or other devices.

Working like it should I use it in my entertainment stand to turn on lights and fans in the cabinetI’ve have other plugs single plugs of this brand so not to have so many smart apps I got this because the app is user friendly, easy to set up & it was easy to connect to my Alexa and works well with it and the other plugs worked so well I figure why not try this and Wala it works like it should I think it’s a tad expensive tbh but again you pay for what you get and this is good quality and it works well with a good user-friendly app so worth it I guess so but still wish it was cheaperI wish the cord was longer though and it was a flat head plug but it’s still a good power strip all in all

I use this to reboot soundbar tv and roku when it gets buggy. Usually the soundbar doesn’t respond. Since the power for these 3 items are hidden, it is easier to reboot from the app which seems to clear the problem. Easy to set up in app and then establish in Google home. Wonderfull product

Perfect remote power cord
Love these! Have several. Easy & fast to set up. Phone app is easy to set up & control remotely. Adapts to Alexa easy as well. Can be set up on a schedule. Lasts for years. Only negative is – occasionally after a long power outage it may require a re-connection, but thankfully it’s easy.

Funciona perfecto con Alexa, se conecta rápido a internet, cuando se va el mismo y regresa de inmediato se vuelve a poner en línea.Me ha facilitado la vida ya que doy clases en línea, es una lata estar conectando y desconectando el cargador, así que sólo le digo a Alexa que lo encienda o apague y listo, también se puede hacer desde la app de Kasa Smart.Lo bueno:* Switch físico de encendido, si se va el internet aún la puedes usar, sólo presionas el botón y listo* Aplicación para el celular, con ésta, puedes usar un temporizador para encender o apagar las clavijas, encender o apagar las clavijas “manualmente”, otras funciones más, lo mejor es que estés en casa o no, puedes controlarla.* Conexión con Alexa* Buena longitud del cable aprox 70 cm* 2 conexiónes USB a 2.4 A (estas no se controlan, ni tienen temporizador)Contras:* Tres clavijas pueden ser insuficientes y el siguiente modelo es más caroLo recomiendo ampliamente sóla o con Alexa y creo que también funciona con Google, claro hay que configurarla primero

Necesitaba un multicontacto y decidí invertir un poco más para que los conectores fueran inteligentes. Elegí este y fue una excelente decisión, es fácil y rápido de instalar, el diseño es simple y elegante. El cable es de buena longitud (70 cms) y bastante resistente.Los conectores USB son de energía continua y me encanta que cada conector tiene su propio botón de apagado/encendido que pueden controlarse con la App de KASA Smart o Alexa, como es mi caso, sin necesidad de agacharse o hacer algún movimiento de muebles. También pueden programarse timers de encendido o a pagado incluso cuando no estas en casa.Hablando de Alexa, la conexión es excelente. No he tenido algún problema de intermitencia o parecido así que me encanta ❤️ Lo super recomiendo por precio, calidad y funcionalidad.

The thing I hate the most:those led lights drive me bonkers when I’m trying to sleep! This is placed in my bedroom. And no matter where I put it or which direction I face it the lights drive me absolutely crazy!They’re too bright and I need pitch black darkness in order to fall asleep. Yes I have sleeping masks but I don’t want to wear one every night – ie hot summer days etc.I love how easy this works with their app. I can easily control it with my Echo Show and all my other smart services. It works seamlessly, plugs in well and I like all the outputs. The one thing that gets on my nerves often is how short the cord is. This cord should be like 5 ft long, not two and a half. It’s probablyyyy 3 ft BUT it really does not feel like 3 ft once you plug it into the wall-there’s nothing left..!This however is very durable and even survived having water splashed on it (about a cupsworth directly on it) and I really did think it would never work again… It was bad. It’s been months and it’s still running just fine after I made sure to take the proper precautions. I really couldn’t be happier and I spent less than $30 on this. But now I see the price has gone up to 40? Y’all are really pushing it and I do think somebody could get a better deal elsewhere. Esp. if they don’t absolutely need smart capabilities. Unfortunately for me, I’m a creature of habit and love to stick with what’s worked. So I will most likely buy it again if the current one I have conks out.That means seeing the price going up and up and up and up? Doesn’t exactly make me happy! This is how you lose loyal customers Kasa! I’m just saying….Note: I can also “SUPER fast charge” my galaxy phone! Win-win!
