Works well for maintaining in between regular vacuuming
Perfect for maintenance in between regular vacuuming of carpet. I have carpet with throw rugs and this vacuum will climb on and off the rugs and get surface dirt off the carpet and rugs. It easily goes in and out of the hardwood floor areas too. It’s relatively quiet and does not scare my pets. It goes back to its charging base when that selection is made. I mainly run it with the remote. It’s gentle when it nears furniture and does not strike it. I’m really pleased. It’s a very good value. Easy to set up, operate, and empty.

The most persistent and easily fixable roomba, I’ll never forget.
I got this roomba back in 2017, mostly because I was lazy. I just didn’t want to vacuum but I wanted clean floors. Over the years I’ve never had to because this thing is able to work 24/7 and while this thing isn’t a A+ student in the precision department. (It will wander everywhere) The little guy WILL wander everywhere and through persistent work just clean everything, pull hair, dust and debris I didn’t even see out of god knows where.It has been doing this since November 2017, and it’s had a good run. It is t dead, no. It “should” be dead, in the years I’ve had to replace the main brush guard twice, the main brush itself three times, the side brushes once or twice each, the battery and finally the left wheel (it gave out recently) and I was able to order replacement parts on amazon for less than 35$ each.I’ve learned how to (not recommended by the manufacturer) tear this thing down safely and clean it and give it the TLC it needs, it kinda has become the equivalent of an old favorite car or bike that you just know inside and out.In its current last act it is helping as valiantly as it can to keep the flea population as low as possible (cat decided to bring friends inside and I am working furiously to keep from becoming a snack each time I sleep, putting everything through the washer, and cleaning and spraying (it’s going well). This roomba in its own would pick up a flea (which while it isn’t much in flea numbers just makes me feel more attached to this little guy).So I decided to get clever, (another process probably not recommended by the manufacturer coming btw) and out some quick drying adult, larvae and flea egg killer that lingers at the bottom of the dust collector…. let it dry and turned it on.It has been fighting its war in fleas much more effectively. Found two more on its first run and a third on its next. Running it again.So I recommend you do this? Nope! What I’m saying is this little guy has been going on for several years, has been bumped, battered and had parts broken on it and it is still running. I’ve had manual vacuums last less… and do less, although I’ve had them do more and last longer too. The main benefit of this roomba is that if you get to know it carefully and learn how to replace parts and keep it clean it can be your best friend if you like a clean house and hate bugs!The reason I am writing this review is because I’m waiting on another roomba (the a9 version of this one). Will I stop using the a4s? Nah, it will just be retired to cleaning my room only while the new kid on the block tackles the whole house.If you’ve made it this far I fully can recommend this roomba new and from the manufacturer (get it while you can!) and have had absolutely no regrets because this is probably the most sturdy roomba that is keeping a house clean that has three people with long hair, and three cats to keep up with.If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Great cleaning power for the price.
Best robot vacuum we have had yet, and also the cheapest. I have had a Shark, a Eufy, and a Roborock. Let’s just say that we’ve lost them all to an unfortunate encounter with an ill-behaved, sneaky dog. This one without the spin brush cleans better and does a great job freeing itself from door jambs and obstacles. Will update and report back if the Turd Monster strikes again to give a full review on if it can avoid a mishap or recover from one. Only complaint is that it’s much louder than the other ones but in my opinion, for the price and the cleaning power it is an excellent value.

What a life changer my iLife vacuum is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am in love with George that is the name we gave to our iLife vacuum. My living room and dining room and kitchen are quite large and we have an open floor plan alone with all tile no carpet. And 3 dogs 3 cats and a child who is always making messes and I have multiple sclerosis. I run him every morning and so far he has been a life changer I run him on Max clean on that mode he will be a little louder but that is not very loud at all he goes under the entertainment center under the dog bed where I would have to move it to clean under it he just zips right under and does a better job then I could. He also goes into the pantry where the littler boxes are and picks up all the cat littler. There is no method to his madness he just goes where ever for about 2 hours. Like he will be in the kitchen and go around where ever next thing you know he is in the dining room then the darts under the dog bed and goes into the hallway. Then back to the kitchen then at the front door then in the pantry he just zooms around all over no certain pattern then after 2 hours he goes to bed to recharge for tomorrow. While he is sleeping I empty his trash can and since I and my daughter have long hair I use the tool and get all of the hair out that wraps around the brushes and clean the filter. Of course every day it is les and less because there is not as much to pickup since he has cleaned it the day before but there is still a lot I can’t believe we are not all bald. My floor have never been so clean. He picks up as much as I would have gotten up with my shark navigator lift away for hard floors and let me tell you that vacuum is a beast it has been the best upright vacuum I have ever owned. And my new friend George is cleaning my floors better then I would if I did it myself with my shark. He is so quiet you could run him at night and not wake up the lightest sleeper. I have always wanted a robot vacuum. But I could never afford one but George was priced way lower and had good reviews so I grabbed it. I am amazed at for his price he was that he is so good at his job. I say thank God I found him. He makes my life so much easier and my house so much cleaner. I have more time to spend with my family. And that is truly what I needed. My MS leg pain has not been as bad as it would normally be. Even my husband was skeptical about spending the money to get him. But he is sure glad we did. We are a happier family. I can’t say enough good things about George. I will tell anyone who is reading this if you are looking for a robot vacuum you can’t go wrong with this one. It will knock your socks off and you will not regret it. Do yourself a favor and get an ilifeA4 that will be a purchase you will not regret.Update on George my ilife March 28,2018Well it is still going strong he has gotten a tiny bit louder I think in the max cleaning mode and has gotten stuck on a few things of course that was my fault for not picking everything up. I run him daily and dump the dirt bin daily he even goes in to the laundry room after I clean the litter boxes and picks up any and all the cat litter I have spilt. And by using him every single day the dust in my house along with dog and cat hair is so much better. My husband said that once he has to be laid to rest (my ilife) that we will get another one. This is after he told me that he never wanted to get one of these vacuums. Now I want the one that ilife makes that mops the floor too. My advice to you is don’t wait another day and do yourself a favor and get one you will NOT regret it.

Value for money, took the dive into these cleaning machines since I was frustrated with the cleaning lady who would complete cleaning a room in less than 30s.The first time I ran this around ( post the perceived clean lady), I was surprised by the amount of dust it could collect. I now use this regularly in the eve and ensure my kids sleep in a clean room with no dust breathing through the night. On an average it takes 20 minutes to clean a 250sft bedroom ( just a estimate) and the end of it the room was quite clean ( verified by using actual vacuum cleaner).As expected we need to primer the room by clearing the room from all big objects (like toys, pens, etc) before you run the bot ( it did pick up some chalks from under the bed which my girl lost 3 months ago 😀.The bot does require some attention like cleaning the brushes after every round of cleaning and emptying the bags but this is least I could do for a clean room.Moving from one room to another was not consistent but I prefer putting the bot in one room with closed doors and allow it to do magic for about 20 min before moving it to the next room.For now 5 stars will revisit this comment in a few weeks and actual usage

Fait ce qu’on lui demande et pas plus: aspirer sans connexion internet et avec une télécommande simple. Ce n’est pas facile à trouver. Gagnerait quand même à avoir un bac à poussière un peu plus grand.

Prodotto ben fatto, il telecomando è comodissimo. Ho sostituito il precedente (stessa marca) perchè la batteria non caricava più (dopo 6 anni…). Spero almeno duri di più questa volta. Leggermente più rumoroso del precedente.

Amazing product! I do not like the idea of domestic help as the wages are not regulated and do not know if the prevailing rates are fair. Thus, I clean my apartment on my own. At times, it becomes tough due to extreme work pressure and time constraints. I came across the robot and purchased it. I can tell you that my apartment is always clean now and with almost 20% efforts.Pros. Effective, programmable, easy to use, easy to clean, quiet operation, has a cute personality:)Cons. NothingAll in all… Full value for money.
