For infants 0-8 weeks, the neck cushion remains folded down, while from 8 weeks and older, it should be upright to provide additional neck support.

Baby can be worn facing out once big enough!
Amazing carrier! Soft, stretchy, sturdy and comfortable – at a great price. Easy to put on alone and adjust without help. I wear my 4 month old in it daily (since he was 6 weeks old-before that I used a wrap. Love this carrier more than anything I’ve used before!) Easy to cleanBABY CAN BE WORN FACING IN OR OUT (see email from Grownsy). The description and instructions on Amazon and Grownsy website aren’t clear so I clarified with them!

I’ve now been using the GROWNSY Baby Carrier (Newborn → Toddler) for several weeks with my baby, and here’s how it’s going:—👍 What I LoveSupports a wide weight range — The carrier is designed to work from newborn through toddler (with adjustment options for different age/size stages)Ergonomic and comfy design — The hip seat and padded waistbelt help distribute baby’s weight, easing pressure on my back and hipsMultiple pockets & storage — I appreciate the built-in pockets and compartments for holding small must-haves (keys, pacifier, wipes), which means fewer extra bags to carry aroundAdjustable & flexible fit — The straps, buckles, and fabric give enough leeway to fit different body types and to adjust as baby growsDecent head/neck support for younger infants — The upper and lower buckle system is supposed to support spinal alignment and safety for early months—👎 Things That Could Be BetterSeat width / “M” position issues — From user feedback, it can be a bit wide to maintain that ideal “M” (knee-to-knee) leg position with both legs out, especially for smaller infants.Head support isn’t rigid — Some say the neck/head support is more foam-pad than firm, so for very young babies or during naps you’ll want to monitor positioning.Buckle adjustment or reach — On some configurations, the buckles or waist strap can be a little awkward to reach or buckle when baby is already in the carrier. A small inconvenience, but noticeable in daily use.Bulk for smaller babies — On smaller infants, the structure (hip seat + padding) feels a bit bulky, which might reduce mobility or flexibility when maneuvering around tight spaces.

Great for Back Pain Relief – Comfortable and Supportive
I’m genuinely impressed with this baby carrier, especially after trying a few others that didn’t work for me.I’ve tried both a ring sling and a less expensive carrier with straps, and both of them gave me almost instant back pain—even just a few minutes of walking would leave me sore. I have a smaller build, and it was a real struggle to find something supportive.I specifically sought this one out because I saw reviews that didn’t mention back pain, and I’m so glad I gave it a try. With this carrier, I can walk around the house or cook dinner comfortably, with only minor shoulder fatigue after wearing it for a long time. No real pain—huge win!What I Love:✅ Excellent Back Support – No more instant pain like I experienced with other carriers.✅ Comfortable Fit – Easy to wear for extended periods.✅ Smooth Adjustments – The straps tighten easily while wearing, which is not something I found with other carriers.✅ Great for Small Builds – I’m petite and it fits me well.Minor Suggestions:➖ No Pocket – I knew this going in, but a small pocket would’ve been a nice touch.➖ Hard to Hang Up – It has a small loop that I use to hang it, but it’s not really designed for that. A dedicated hanging strap would be helpful.Tips for New Users:🔹 Expect to tighten the straps each time you put it on—it only takes a few seconds, but it makes a big difference in comfort.🔹 It takes me about 2–3 minutes to put on, and I can even hold my baby while doing it.Final Thoughts:My baby is still pretty small (about 10 pounds), so I’ll be curious to see how it holds up with more weight—but for now, it’s been perfect for my needs.Highly recommended if you struggle with back pain. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I use it everyday
Buttery soft and easy to put on once you get the hang of it! I wish it tightened more, it’s hard on my shoulders as a petite woman but tighter straps would probably fix that. Other than that it’s a great option for a carrier. Easy on the lower back and overall super comfy

Where has this been all my life?!
This is hands down the most comfortable carrier Ive ever had. Im the mom of 7, and Ive tried dozens of carrier brands.My 8 mth old fell asleep in this carrier within 10 minutes of being in it. The material is so soft with a bit of a stretch to it. It hugs her perfectly so she feels secure and comfortable.I dont even feel like Im wearing her, which is a wonderful thing. I have an old back injury, and babywearing is painful most of the time. I have zero pain when wearing this carrier..and Ive worn her for hours at a time.I love how easy it is to put on by myself.I love that it isnt bulky, so I have full range of both hands to get things done with my clingy baby.The colors are beautiful and the fabric feels quality.Its really hot out right now, and surprisingly it is very breathable. I wasn’t soaked in sweat when I took it off.The functionality of it is top notch imo.This carrier is worth every penny!

I LOVE THIS CARRIER
I had initially bought the momcozy breathable mesh carrier because TikTok influenced me and I HATED it. The metal rings dug into my sides, it was hard to put on, my baby hated it, and it made my back hurt. I didn’t want to give up baby wearing because I loved the convenience of not having to haul the stroller everywhere but all the rest of the baby carriers I saw were so pricey. I’m so glad I found this carrier! It’s a very good price, it’s soft, my back doesn’t hurt when I wear it, it’s so comfortable for me and the baby. My baby is 1 month old 7-8lbsish and falls asleep in it. It feels nice a secure (unlike the mom cozy carrier). And I feel confident going out alone with my baby because it’s so easy and fast to put on. I would definitely recommend buying this carrier!
