I’m not expecting; I’m using these to provide midriff coverage.
You don’t have to be pregnant to use this! No one even checks lol. I’m using these for an entirely different, non-pregnancy related purpose than they’re intended, and you might want to too! I HATE how often shirts and sweaters are really short and they leave your belly exposed if you move your arms or shoulders at all, leaving you in a constant, never-ending battle of tugging your shirt down all day if you don’t want to be showing midriff – which I don’t, especially not at work. I can’t deny that just-under-the-ribcage length sweaters are often very flattering on a bottom-heavy pear-shaped lady such as myself, however, so darn it. Sometimes wearing a cami or undershirt can help solve the problem, but sometimes the cami interferes with the neckline of the sweater/shirt, or sometimes (like today) I’m already wearing a blouse, I just don’t want the blouse to be flooding all day between the pant line and sweater line.Enter these belly bands. I am wearing them under my shirt, under my pants, to provide coverage so I’m not having to constantly tug down my rib-length sweater all day. The belly band blends right into my black slacksI bought the large size and it fits comfortably, with lots of stretch – I have a 38″ waist and 48″ hips for reference. Honestly the belly bands are very stretchy and forgiving, so I imagine someone with bigger OR smaller measurements than me could comfortably fit in the same size, though FYI the very bottom (hip) measurement is slightly less forgiving due to the anti-slip silicone band on that area. I have a photo shown with the pants pulled down a bit to show how low I’m wearing the band and how it goes all the way up to under the bust, so there’s plenty of midriff coverage. Sometimes the band rolls, but not too excessively, and it seems to be doing a good job of keeping the belly band from riding up and defeating its purpose. All in all – I absolutely love this product for this purpose!

    Perfect during pregnancy
I was a little bit on the frumpy side when I started to show, I didn’t have a pronounced bump until about 8-9 months of pregnancy. So I thought these to keep everything round and looking more pregnant like, they did not disappoint. I wore these day and night and these were perfect, not too hot and kept my baby extra warm in there. She loves being warm now to this day and I believe it was the extra fabric I wore keeping her toasty. I wore these under dresses, maternity jeans, even under my night clothes. It helped me feel more confident and give me that pronounced baby bump at 6 months even though I hadn’t popped yet. Thank you for the product!

    Good for holding up pants
I bought these belly bands specifically to hold up my jeans because I can no longer button or zip them up at all! When worn with the sticky band at the bottom (like in the product photos), they hold my pants up very well. I can confidently go about my day without fear of my pants falling down and with only minimal adjustments. That said, they work best with my high rise jeans. I tried using a belly band with the one pair of low rise pants I have, and that was a hard fail; every time I sat down or bent over, the waist of the pants slipped right out from under the belly band. One thing to note is they do go up pretty high, and often end up scrunching down below my bra band. This actually doesn’t really bother me; it’s just something to note. I’m also on the petite side, so maybe a taller person might not experience this scrunching.Overall, these belly bands do exactly what I want them to do: hold up my pants!

An absolute must if you’re pregnant
These bands helped me save money by not having to buy maternity pants. I continued using my regular jeans, unzipped, throughout my pregnancy up until I gave birth. These bands held up my jeans nicely. They were very comfortable, didn’t ride up, and stayed in place with the grippy part down “grabbing” the jeans in place throughout the day. They also helped cover my belly so that I could continue wearing my regular shirts, they just looked like another layer of clothing. With these bands I didn’t have to buy maternity shirts until my 3rd trimester. Lastly, they also wore nicely as a skin barrier to prevent irritation from the postpartum band.

Skip the belly bands and just get real maternity pants.
I got the recommended size for me but one of them especially rolls like crazy. Within 15 minutes I’m wearing a little rolled up belt putting unwanted pressure on my waist rather than something that covers my pants. I have to constantly watch out and adjust. The other one works a little better but not perfectly. Perhaps sizing up could help. Pre pregnancy, I was a size small. These did still get few uses, and the fabric seems decent. I’m giving three stars because I don’t think they’re badly made. I can see how they could be useful and some women swear by them, but my high waisted jeans especially became useless so fast even with a belly band. My belly became really sensitive by 6 or 7 weeks, way before I was showing, and unzipped pants weren’t enough to keep me comfortable especially when seated. It sorta depends on where the pants zipper stops. I gave up pretty fast when these belly bands didn’t quite work for me, and I just bought/borrowed real maternity jeans. It was going to happen anyway, so why not get as many months of comfort out of them as possible. At 30 weeks, my thighs definitely can’t fit my pre pregnancy jeans even if I wanted to, so I was never going to be able wear them through the whole pregnancy anyway. While some of my shirts still *kinda* work, the maternity pants have been indispensable. I’ve exclusively worn maternity pants since week 10. I don’t think these bands were a necessary purchase overall. If I were to buy this kind of thing again for some reason though, I might try one of the nicer brands, and hopefully those wouldn’t roll so badly.

very comfortable and doesn’t slide around too much. It’s perfect for more coverage when clothes don’t fit around the bump. It’s not super supportive, I would reach of a heavier-duty support band if in need of weight relief. I got a medium, I’m 5’7 and 75kg, and it does feel a bit loose at 7 months pregnant. it does get hot in summer. I do really like it, it does provide some relief.

I’m 5’0″ and 150lbs pre pregnancy. I bought size M and there is plenty of room for growth. I got all 3 colors for $22 which is amazing. These bands are essential to a maternity wardrobe and the quality of these is great. They even have the rubber grip on the top and bottom of the bands so they don’t move when you wear them. Even when I’m sweating, they stay in place which is great. I’m really happy with this purchase.

  8. Ohemaa

Great quality comfortable fit and firmly stays on however I feel that the material isn’t breathable or comfortable! I can’t wear mine for long time as it feels tight over my belly is more of shapewear.

  9. YN

I’m happy with the items received but I did not receive one of the sizes I’ve requested.
