Space saving organization for travel
I need to begin by stating that I am a packing cube zealot and have been using them for travel for at least a decade. They really organize my suitcase. I usually have tops in one and pants in another, but sometimes I organize by activity using one for tour clothes another for hiking and a third for evening wear. If doing a land trip with multiple hotels, I can find that cute top I feel like wearing without emptying my suitcase, and on a cruise, I can place the cubes on the shelves and have everything unpacked but still organized. The only downside of packing cubes is that they do nothing to conserve room in the suitcase and may actually make the suitcase more bulky.Enter the compression packing cube. I started noticing these when searching Amazon more than a year ago, but I already have a full set of regular packing cubes and just could not justify buying another set. I have a trip planned for next month, and I have decided that I will not check a bag. Considering how inexpensive this packing cube set is, I figured I have nothing to lose and will try them out. These were delivered when promised along with the rest of my Amazon order. Several years ago, I bought an inexpensive set of packing cubes that had a strong plastic odor, however these have no odor and are ready for use straight out of the packaging. These have 2 zippers, one to open the compartment and one for compression. My regular packing cubes have a double zipper to open the compartment which I prefer over the single zipper these have. The cubes come in 5 sizes – large, medium, small, extra small, and other (this last one is long and narrow). While I like the idea of different sized cubes, I think the medium size is the most useful, and I would have preferred 2 mediums over the extra small or oblong cube. Ideally for me would be a set with 1 large, 3 mediums, and 1 small cube, which would not only be more practical in terms of packing my clothes but also fitting everything into my suitcase. However, I can easily make do with these sizes.With my trip next month, I will be away for 2 weeks, and I plan to pack 8 t-shirts, 2 long sleeve shirts, 2 sweaters, 3 pairs of pants, 1 pair of shorts, 2 sets of pajamas, 16 pairs of underwear, 3 bras, 8 pairs of socks, and a windbreaker. I did a test pack with these cubes, and remarkably I was able to fit everything (and I only used 4 cubes but will bring the 5th to use for dirty laundry). Even more astonishing is that everything fits in my roll aboard with room to spare for my sandals, hat, and sundries. If I have any issues with the quality or durability of these packing cubes during my trip, I will update this review.*This review was made in good faith based on my personal experience with the product. Excellent Space Savers – Almost Perfect!
These compression bags are a game-changer for packing. The five different sizes are perfect for fitting everything from shirts to bulky jackets, and I was genuinely surprised by how much space they saved in my suitcase. They feel durable and the zippers seem sturdy. The price is also very fair for the quality you get. I would give them five stars, but they do require a bit of effort to compress completely, especially the larger bags. Once you get the hang of it, though, it’s totally worth the effort.

These compression packing cubes are exactly as shown, very good quality and do exactly what I needed. At first I thought it would removed the air using a depression valve like some products, but then it didn’t. But guess what?! It didn’t need that technology because it organically works by compression as advertised, that removes the extra air & gently compresses your articles of clothing. It also helps if you organize your things in different packs by category, so you can easily access a particular item. Handles are a great plus to easily move things. The different sizes make sense to put different size articles into. I realized the quality made it well worth the price plus convenience. It assisted my needs a lot! It is made from materials consistent with my clothing, but is sturdy enough for some other items I had that didn’t have sharp corners or not harse, coarse things.

Saves so much space!
Fantastic quality! Right down to the zipper pull tabs- having the second compression zipper is such a convenient feature! When they’re completely full I don’t compress them, and as I use items out of them I use the compression zipper to hold the other items in place, that are still in the case. I am honestly impressed and did not expect this kind of quality for the price. I definitely would buy them again.

Strong fabric softener smell
I was pretty sure I had checked the sizes to be sure these would suit my needs, but they somehow still seem too small. Except the long narrow bag, which seems quite “deep” for being so narrow. They also smell overwhelming of fabric softener/dryer sheets, which is better than strong petroleum smells like some Amazon purchases, but we do have a lot of allergies in our household, so I’m a little unsure of how these will work out.

Why did it take me so long to use packing cubes!!
I just bought a bigger check-in suit case and figured that it was time to give packing cubes a try. I was a bit skeptical on if these would hold up as the price was so good. But they work so good that I immediately bought another set. My husband was so envious of them that I will be buying more. What I liked about them was the difference sizes so I’m able to utilize small spaces left in my suitcase and how they kept lifestyle clothing together and not spilling all around the larger case. We also had one night at an airport hotel before starting our trip and I just packed the few clothes we needed for that in one cube. The compression worked great as well even when I over packed the cube, the zippers felt tight and not like the fabric would come apart. I’m definitely buying more of this for my hubby.
