Good deal.
Although it’s relatively small. Sound quality is pretty decent and lights are pretty cool. But what surprised me the most is the battery life. It survives 2 or 3 long study sessions and charges quickly enough.

What a speaker surprise!
What a great inexpensive speaker!!! When I first opened and saw this speaker I thought “oh great, another Amazon return” …it was unusual looking with like a big snow globe, and for the price I thought junk! HOWEVER, with extremely easy pairing with my Hott cd player and Avantree bluetooth transmitted radio, I was in for a wonderful surprise: the lights!!! Totally astounding lights display that hypnotize you to the beat of the music!!! There are other lights settings as well. Now the sound: crisp and clear! Keep in mind this speaker is only 5 watts, and the louder you play the more brilliant light synchronization! DO NOT EXPECT BOSE OR JBL BASS, LOUDNESS, OR QUALITY! For my needs it is just perfect on my nightstand as I doze off to my light show listening to Chicago classical radio station WFMT!! I must gave 20 bluetooth speakers, including Bose and JBL, ut this one stands out: it’s the lights!!!!!

Pretty Good – But WAY Smaller Than Expected
I recently saw a YouTube video that compared the top of the line bluetooth speaker with the cheap, Chinese clone and the reviewer was shocked at how good the cheaper speaker was and how it even sounded better than the expensive version which was close to 3 times the price. I was inspired. So I looked it up here on amazon for fun to see if they were selling the cheaper one and voila! There it was! Only instead of $100 it was less than $15. I couldn’t believe my luck!Well when it arrived I knew why it was so much cheaper even before I opened the package. The box it came in was easily less than HALF the size of the speaker in the video I had watched. Oh well. As long as it works as described, I’m still good, right? Well let’s talk about that. The speaker itself is downward facing, and it does light up really fancy-like and you can adjust those colors to a degree with pre-selected other choices or you can turn the lighting off altogether which probably will save you a good 25% battery life, or so I would imagine (I’m just guessing here). So the actual audio quality is…(drumroll please)…not bad. Nobody at Bose or Sony have much to be concerned about in that regard…but it is important to note that if you’re looking for a bluetooth speaker that will do the job and won’t break the bank and still offer a cool-looking speaker then look no further. Who needs to spend a hundred + bucks only to have a speaker that sounds just marginally better? The bass was – especially for how small this is – pretty decent actually. Again, it won’t be what you want to stream your favorite bass-heavy rap on, but for what it does, oh yeah the sound is not bad whatsoever.Just keep in mind the overall cost of this speaker and you’ll understand. For the money, it delivers far more than I got from a speaker that cost literally 4 times more – and that, my friends is what I consider a win-win.

This is a reasonably decent small (well, relatively speaking but it’s actually quite large for a low-powered 5W speaker) BT 5.3 speaker with decent physical build quality, reasonably good sound quality overall (i.e. for speakers at this size/price range), and features (USB-A/TF/3.5mm and FM radio). Its advertised wattage (5W) is certainly nothing to write home about at this point in time and it’s far from the being slimmest or the most compact given its rated power; however, it does perform reasonably well with respect to overall audio quality (although it doesn’t really have much bass, as expected) as well as build quality based on what it claims. That said, it does appear to have lower volume (at max) compared to other 5W speakers, so the real wattage is perhaps just 4W or so.First thing first, the elephant in the room. Let’s face it, there really is NO practical reason at this point in time to get a 5W portable speaker as there are literally dozens and dozens of BT speakers out there with much better spec and everything else although most of them are perhaps slight larger and more expensive than this; though, its size is significantly smaller than most other 10W speakers and noticeably smaller than many other 5W speakers out there although I’m not particularly fond of the plastic shell. That said, I do appreciate its unique transparent dome design along with LED lighting and it’s at least eye-catching at first although the lighting effects ends up being somewhat boring since it only has 5 modes and 4 of them are just static colors.≡ Physical buildThe physical build quality is decent albeit typical of most others of similar design and style in comparison to the dozens of BT speakers that I’ve come across and tested thus far and it does have certain weight to it so that’s a good sign I suppose. However, it’s entirely made of plastic and I’d prefer an aluminum alloy shell instead given its mini profile. It has the usual buttons for power/play/pause, FF/BF, lighting effects, and modes etc.; nothing fancy here. The buttons are the typical spring-loaded switches covered with hard plastic that I prefer over soft rubbery buttons because those soft ones are often difficult to work with since I have to press at the precise location (usually right in the center) to register a push. I very much prefer buttons made of hard plastic because they require very little effort in comparison.≡ Bluetooth connectivityParing is straightforward as it should at this point in time. Similar to the vast majority of other BT speakers on the market nowadays, this one also (claim to) supports TWS but I couldn’t verity and test TWS functionalities since I only have one to work with here. BT connection is just fine like most others and it’s fairly stable at a distance of 5 metres (~15 ft).Paring is straightforward as it should at this point in time. Similar to the vast majority of other BT speakers rated above at or around 5W on the market nowadays, this one supports TWS which is decent; however, I can’t really test TWS functionality since I only have one. TWS allows you to pair 2 (or in some cases 3) of these speakers for a true stereo sound and that’s what is used in just about all earbuds nowadays. BT connection is just fine like most others and it’s reasonably stable at a distance of 4 metres (~12 ft).≡ Sound quality/wattageThe sound quality is actually not too bad considering its size and the fact it’s rated at 5W; however, it is ONLY 5W and it’s not terribly loud as it’s not expected to be. The highs/mids reasonably clear and crisp for the most part but the bass is underwhelming although (again) it’s entirely expected for such a small speaker. That said, the overall audio quality isn’t bad although it’s by no means amazing and you shouldn’t expect it to be given the spec. It goes without saying that this will NOT be a party speaker by any stretch of imagination since it’s simply not powerful enough, even if you have 2 in TWS mode.It doesn’t crackle or pop at the highest volume either so that’s nice (a few other 3W/5W/8W that I’ve come across do crap out at the highest volume). I’ve pushed the volume at around 107% without [much] noticeable crackling so that’s nice (however, you can certainly hear it if you listen carefully).Btw, this appears to be more or less a 4W speaker based on a quick test against a known source because it’s quieter at max volume than those rated at 5W but it’s slightly louder than those rated at 3W during the tests.≡ Other featuresIt has a USB-A port along with a TF (aka microSD) slot that can be used as the source of media. It also has a 3.5mm port for wired connectivity which I do appreciate. The RGB LED lighting on the other hand is underwhelming since it only has 4 static colors and 1 dynamic mode that appears to be music syncing but the effects are just rather unimpressive to say the least. It can be charged via USB-C and it draws about 0.4-0.5A so it can be safely charged via USB 3.0 data (0.9A max) ports on most computers/laptops if necessary but perhaps not with ordinary USB 2.0 port which limits the current at 0.5A. A dedicated USB charger rater at 1A is recommended though.≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a reasonably decent 5W/4W BT speaker with decent build quality and reasonably decent sound quality overall although I do find bass to be inadequate. It’s by no means a powerful BT speaker and you shouldn’t expect it to be given its rated wattage and size. It doesn’t excel at anything but it does serve the purpose if any of the features provided is important to you. It’s reasonably priced at $17 for what it provides and its overall build quality, features, usability, and performance. Your mileage might vary.

Je cherchais des petits cadeaux pour mes élèves, car j’organise des tirages pendant l’année. Comme je suis une grande amatrice de musique, j’ai voulu tester ce haut-parleur avant de l’offrir. J’ai déjà des enceintes haut de gamme (Bose, etc.), donc je suis assez exigeante… et quelle surprise! Le son est clair, puissant et franchement incroyable pour le prix. Mes élèves vont adorer, et moi aussi je suis ravie de mon achat.

It’s not the loudest or most powerful Bluetooth speaker available, and at 5 watts it doesn’t try to be–but it is a very affordable alternative for an office or small room. Here’s a couple of things to consider that may make or break it for your purposes:1) it’s not small, standing a little over 5 inches or 13cm high, and about 4 inches or 11 cm wide, so I wouldn’t use it as a travel speaker. It’s not heavy, but size counts when packing.2) the build is good but not what I’d consider for rough camping. Still, great in an RV, though.3) real music lovers would be better off with two for stereo, and I only have one. Here’s a few things I like very much like, apart from sound quality:a) the lights are fun but, most important for me, they can easily be turned off,b) it works with TF/Micro SD cards (I tried 256gb and it worked) and USB sticks. I used 320kbps MP3, and I didn’t try FLAC. I also didn’t try the FM. The player is simple, no app, so load your SD card with that in mind.c) It has an aux input, so you can run direct from your playerd) it powers by USB C in.e) very easy pairing with Bluetooth 5.3f) the manual is tiny but useful. Now, to sound quality: I’d describe it as very vocal friendly. There’s good bass resolution (I was kinda pleasantly surprised, for example, how it handled the acoustic bass in Zappacosta’s “Squirm”) but more important to me, nothing buried the vocals, whether male or female. They were always listenable and very clear no matter what I put through them.Would it be good for Pantera or dubstep, loud? No, not really–but for AOR, city pop and shoegaze at moderate levels, for other examples, sure, at its price, it’s well worth considering. If you primarily want clearer vocals and you also certainly want cool lighting, and this approximate price is your limit, this is worth considering. But $!0 more can get you a smaller, tougher, longer playing speaker that may not be quite as vocal friendly and will use a micro rather than C usb input, but will still provide an overall much better sound, at least match its volume, and that will provide Bluetooth (4.0) and Micro SD compatibility and an aux input.
