I bought this for my MacBook air because it tends to overheat and will shut off when it gets too hot. When I have my laptop on top of this stand I can do 1 hour+ meetings on it and it won’t shut off. It’s a really small and lightweight stand and is sturdy enough for my MacBook. I love that it folds up really small too so I can easily put it away when people are over, and it adjusts to many different heights. It’s just what I was looking for and works well. I would highly recommend this little stand.

Flimsy Build and Awkward to Use
Flimsy Build and Awkward to UseI wanted to like this stand because the idea is great—lightweight, adjustable, and supposedly portable—but in practice it has more drawbacks than benefits for me. The plastic feels thin and a bit fragile, so I’m never fully confident it will hold up to long-term use. Setting it up isn’t smooth; opening it takes more effort than it should, and the hinges feel stiff yet not particularly sturdy.Once open, balancing my laptop on it can be awkward. The surface doesn’t feel entirely stable, and I often find myself adjusting the laptop to keep it from shifting. The design seems better suited for smaller, lighter laptops rather than anything on the heavier side. Portability is okay—it’s light enough to throw in a bag—but I wouldn’t travel with it often for fear it could crack or warp.Bottom line: if you need a stand for occasional, light-duty use, it can work. But for daily use or heavier laptops, I’d look for something sturdier and easier to set up.
