Ready to go right out of the package. The security features are very well thought out. The seat is firm with a strong structure that won’t bend or let baby fall. When the child is old enough, this seat can support the parent in carrying the baby on their hip. The detachable chest/shoulder straps are secured with a zipper and snaps, so they will not detach unenetentionall if used for support. The stars that goes around the waist/hips is wide enough for support and comfort. This makes the weight sit lower instead of on the back and shoulders. Velcro and a large buckle give it extra security. The pockets make this baby carrier even better. You can put the bottle, pacifier or other essentials to make them easily accessible.

PERFECT and underrated!
I stole this at 60-something% off and it was SOO worth it! My 3month old sitsSo easy and comfortably in the holder, where he was so uncomfortable in others. Had a more narrow thigh spread, so his little legs rest comfortably and aren’t being pulled apart as wide like in other carriers. The hip shelf is perfectly sturdy. There’s a velcro patch plus buckle to secure, and it stays put on my hips. I work from home on the computer and need him to be entertained. I’ll put him in this and play Elmo’s World on one monitor while working on the others, totally gets the job done. Plenty of storage space for your necessities if going on a hike or running around town.

This is very awesome quality, multi purpose baby carrier, due to front v shape design even 2 months old can easily seat in it. All belts are made nicely.
