I am issuing this a tentative 4 stars because I don’t know if this provides a true M shape in the legs. I will keep trying this carrier though. It is comfortable, meets the safety standards of baby wearing, and my baby doesn’t hate it. We have tried 5 carriers and for him to be ok with this one was a pleasant surprise.Now to the meat and potatoes:1. Style – this is an apron style carrier. The design is very similar to wild bird but not as rigid or padded. The bottom strap secures around the waist just above the hips, and the shoulder supports criss cross behind your back. I found it very easy to cross and secure the straps, just add length to it and tighten it after it is clipped in.2. Comfort – this is very comfortable for me to wear. I actually love the soft cotton fabric. We didn’t get too hot, and I didn’t find any uncomfortable pressure points from this design. Baby also appears very comfortable in this.3. Care – the instructions say to hand wash only. I don’t know many moms that have time to hand wash anything. This item is currently being tested in the wash in a garment bag, and will be hand dried. Updates will follow it doesn’t survive.4. Support and Adjustments – there 3 points to adjust the fit for the wearer. There are no spots to adjust the fit for the baby. The seat, support, and size are as is. I’m not sure I’d try this with a newborn with no head control and such tiny hips for this reason, but it seems to fit my 5 month old pretty well.5. Clips – the waist band clip is your standard pinch to release. The shoulder strap clips look like they might be this style, but you actually pinch and slide forward to release. To secure, you place the clip over the notch and slide back toward you. I do think this is a nice added securement. Even if the clips somehow got pinched in, you need a very deliberate motion to actually unhook these.So far I’m very happy with this and would recommend.Note: you may notice that baby’s back is not in a “C” shape. I did verify that at 5 months of age baby’s back may not look this way due to muscle and posture development. I used other signs to check for comfort and proper support.

Tried cheap carriers before, and my back would ache after 10 minutes -this one’s a game changer! The wide straps spread the weight so evenly, I can wear my 20lb baby for an hour at the mall with zero pain. She stays snug and happy.

Good intro carrier
This is a pretty decent baby carrier. It is easy put on but a little tough to get tight enough to really be comfortable. The fabric is nice and soft which I love. There is a padded area behind the baby’s head which is very comfortable. The straps criss cross in the back but there is still quite a bit of pressure on my shoulders and back. The fabric and shape keeps my baby’s legs in the proper M position. I love that there’s a pocket which is perfect for storing a pacifier. Overall this is a good intro carrier for a smaller baby but may not be supportive as the baby grows large.
