Great for travel!
Lifesaver for travel and camping. Good value and helps us sleep better. The sound is good, and it closely replicates our more robust sound machine at home.

Most of us don’t need a dozen or more sounds to meet our sleep needs. Just a soothing, steady sound to take us into slumber and sleep. This little machine does the trick! The heart sound is probably good for your baby or puppy. The pink, brown, ocean and fan sounds, two variations of each, are sufficient and should be pleasing enough to satisfy anyone. This is a simple to use machine, no batteries required, usb cord for power and machine can be charged for 40 hours of continuous sound unplugged. With the sound variations, you’ll find the adjustable volume is adequate. It may not drown out the snoring moose or the 1812 overture, but then what does?!I am so happy with this machine. It takes little space laying flat on table top or with wire stand, or can be clipped to hang. I definitely recommend this unit!

Convenient portable low EMF sound machine
Been using this thing hard since purchasing a few months ago and it’s been great so far. I’m really glad I went with the portable option because my baby sleeps on me in different locations in the house so we use it to cover up the sounds of dishes etc when she sleeps. I was attracted to this product because I read it has low EMFs and I tested it with a meter and I can verify that’s true! Prior I had purchased one of those popular DOHM fan ones because I thought if it’s analog there’d be no EMFs but boy was I wrong! My emf meter went wild – it has the same level as an iPhone. Anyway I like this machine. My only suggestion would be to improve battery life, we like to keep it on all night, volume on the higher end, and we have to leave it plugged in or it’ll die after 6 or so hours. My other feedback is that it does sound pretty digital and I’d prefer a more analog sound but that’s to be expected. I recommend this machine for its ease of use, convenience, functionality, value, and health of your baby.

Love it!
This actually helps my husband sleep through the night. It has a variable selection of sounds, is small and easy to transport. I love it! The only problem is that he keeps leaving them at the hotel when he travels (we’re on our third one🙃

Just go with the regular sized one.
Sound is pretty weak and it’s convenient in that you charge it on the go but it should really be a bit louder. Compared to the full size plug in from the same company, this one is very weak. Charging seems to last a couple hours. Works if you’re in a pinch or really need it for a stroller walk/car ride but I would otherwise not choose to buy this.If you’re thinking of using this for a vacation and will be staying at a hotel/airbnb, just get the full size version.

Size, cost, and effectiveness excellent
Nice sound options. Small size great for travel. Looping of sounds is somewhat random with no breaks evident. Charges easily with USB-C provided. Other sound machines often have breaks in streaming sounds and/or constantly cyclical sounds which make them ineffective. This unit is a great option at a great price.

lifesaver for traveling!
I have one of the standalone lectrofan units, which I absolutely love, but traveling with it felt precarious. I couldn’t find a purpose-made case for it, and while it traveled fine, it felt wrong to keep shoving it in a bag without a care in the world.This little guy has saved my butt. The selection of sounds is lovely, and the slim profile means it’s easy to slip into any random pouch or pocket and then into a bag. Love that it’s usb-c charged, because that’s one less cord to worry about making sure I have. Puts out a great level of sound and keeps me sane when I’m sleeping in new/unfamiliar environments! When I’m not traveling, I actually keep it at my desk (work from home life amirite) for when I need neutral background noise.Perfect little machine. Would not hesitate to buy again!

Update: Had an Issue – Cust Svc Fixed it!
Update 2:Their customer service is amazing! I let them know about the issue and had a replacement the very next day. I guess that’s because I happen to be in a one day shipping are for them. The replacement is working great and my baby is sleeping very calmly now!Update 1:Unfortunately, this unit stopped working within the first 2 months. Initially thought it was just a dead battery, but have tried charging on different cable and chargers with no resolution. When plugged in, the red light just stays on. The unit will not even power on when plugged in. Really disappointed. I’ll be seeking a warranty replacement and will update accordingly.Original Review:LectroFan does not disappoint! I’ve become quite comfortable with some of the deeper fan noises from my LectroFan Micro (1st Gen). However after several years, the battery doesnt always hold a change the way it used to.. so I upgraded to the LectroFan Alpha and so far it’s great. I love that they finally upgraded to USB Type-C, and love that they included a child friendly clip for use on a car seat or crib.My only complaint- despite being larger than the Micro, the Alpha is not as bass heavy, so if you prefer those lower tones, that’s something to keep in mind. It’s still great, but the Micro is just a bit deeper.

I love this noise cancelling machine! It has a variety of sounds and the volume can be easily adjusted. It’s rechargeable and can be stood up with the built-in easel on the back or hung from the loop on top. I sleep so much better with this little machine on and am so grateful for an improved sleep quality. It works consistently well and was worth every penny! I have tried other similar machines to help me sleep and this one far outperforms them.
