THE Best calendar of it’s kind
I’ve been buying this calendar as “the” main calendar for our family for nearly a decade, now. I started out buying from our local Barnes and Nobles store; always around late December when the calendars go on that 75% clearance sale. The first time I purchased this was actually on a whim; I used to be one of those people who bought calendars based solely on my favorite movie or anime. As a result, the images themselves were always great and nice to look at, but it was very hard to write on them, as many of them were printed on that gloss paper calendars often use. Plus, the spaces were usually VERY tiny and cramped, so if I, my husband, or our child all had appointments or something going on on the same day it was VERY difficult to fit everything and the notes would be very cramped and sloppy looking as I tried to squeeze them in. And 9 times out of 10 there was never any additional space to scribble notes the way THIS calendar has.AS I mentioned, this calendar was initially purchased on a whim (this was around 2018 or 2019) I needed a 3rd calendar for the house and the store had no other themed ones left that I was interested in, so I chose this one purely out of desperation. I always get a calendar for the kitchen/dining area, one for our daughter’s room so that she can practice/get in the habit of keeping track of and writing things down, and finally the MAIN calendar for my husband and I which is kept in our bedroom. This Master bedroom calendar is the one with all the “important” stuff: family doctors/dentist appointments, any work related meetings my husband and I might have at our respective jobs, birthday and anniversary reminders, payday schedules, my period start/end dates, and the like. (I don’t write these sorts of notes/sensitive info on the kitchen calendar as that calendar would be seen by guests.) The calendar was wrapped in plastic so I didn’t actually get to see what it looked like inside until I got home. Upon opening it, I was pleasantly surprised at how BIG the lettering and box space was. Keep in mind that I went into this purchase blind, not knowing what kind of calendar this was or what it looked like. I was initially bemused at the paper; it wasn’t the usual gloss paper, but I soon LOVED it, as it was SO much easier to write on. It even came with STICKERS, something my husband was extremely excited about. That year we realized that we ENJOYED this bigger calendar. It didn’t have any interesting images to look at, but it was large, (we could even make out dates from across the room!) it had OODLES of EXTRA space, and in all it seemed specifically designed for a family to keep track of appointments, PTA meetings, and payment and billing schedules. Since that first time purchasing we have NEVER looked back, and when we were no longer able to find this calendar in our local Barnes and Nobles, we switched to buying solely online, which is honestly more expensive as Amazon doesn’t seem to offer the usual 75% off at the end of the year that our local bookstores do. (To be fair, Amazon USED to clearance calendars at the end of the year, but I don’t know why they stopped) Regardless, this calendar is an expense that both my husband and I agree is wholly necessary.I 1000% recommend this calendar to anyone who uses their calendars for notes and appointment reminders. This would make a great gift for anyone who enjoys keeping their life in order!

My favorite family calendar year after year! There’s large enough space to write everybody’s activities and the stickers are helpful to mark days with no school.

Lots of space: great for family
I’ve been using this calendar for years! I love the large format, which leaves lots of space for all members of the family to write their activities. I’m happy to give up having a picture on my calendar in favor of having this extra space.

Good, wish it were more visually interesting
Nice big squares for busy family. Place to write notes and goals for the month, suggested goals for the month which is maybe inspiring for someone, lol. Nice, heavy pages. It’s just BORING. Some change in color month by month or a patterned border would go a long way. There are colored stickers, but they are small squares and also IMO boring, I don’t use them. But – I bought it last year for the first time and again this year, so functionality won out.

I buy this every year. It is big enough to write what all the family is doing per day and it has a section at the bottom of each day where you can write what is planned for dinner. Fantastic and highly recommend.

Absolutely love this calendar. It’s large. Enough room to write each days different activities or appointments. Room for notes. Stickers for different activities.

The pages are thin. Writing goes through to other side. They dont stay flat againt the wall. The corners curl into the middle making it so you cant see anything on the top half. I would do a return but I already have too much written in for the year. The quality for these calendars seem to be going down. Last year for this one. Very disappointed.
