The One Whose Phone Stands
Eldric and the Stand of Serene OrderIn the quiet realm of Cedarwood Hollow, Eldric, a scholar of calm and collector of well-crafted tools, sought harmony at his desk. Amid a tangle of cables and clutter, he discovered the LUCKY BEAN Desktop Wood Phone Stand. Its clean silhouette, cast in rich walnut-hued wood, promised not just order—but quiet enchantment.Assembly That Whispers SimplicityWith a few gentle fits—slot into slot—the stand assembled itself before Eldric’s very eyes. No incantations, no screws; just pure, satisfying alignment. The ease of installation felt almost magical—and yet, it was simply thoughtful design at play, making setup feel like a calm, deliberate ritual.Clean Lines & Thoughtful Charging HolesEldric placed his phone upon the stand’s middle bar. The unit’s clean, smooth lines whispered refinement, while strategically placed holes for charging cables allowed his device to stay powered without disrupting the aesthetic. No more rat’s nests of cords—a subtle nod to form meeting function.Magnetic Hold for the Wooden Resting BarAt the heart of the design lies the middle wooden bar, the support upon which the phone gently leans. This piece attaches to the stand itself with the aid of a hidden magnetic hold, keeping the bar firmly seated in its groove. The connection feels both solid and seamless—never wobbling, never loose—yet it can be lifted free with ease should you wish to adjust or pack the unit away. What first seems like a touch of sorcery is the quiet cleverness of a magnet, ensuring that the phone’s resting place remains steady and true. One Slight Rift in the HarmonyThe only note of dissonance? There’s no integrated wireless charging—a feature that could have elevated the function even further. Yet it’s a minor omission, not enough to shadow the overall brilliance of the piece.Final Review: A Calm Five StarsRating: ★★★★★ (5 out of 5 stars)Assembly: Quick, intuitive, and satisfying—no tools needed, just natural alignment.Design & Charging Holes: Elegant lines and well-placed holes keep aesthetics and functionality in harmony.Magnetic Groove: Secure and effortless—the stand holds tight, yet releases easily with grace.Stable Bottom Feet: Reliable anchoring that prevents sliding—even amidst daily desk bustle.Drawback: Lacks built-in wireless charging—but a small miss in an otherwise stellar ensemble.

An attractive desk accessory
This dark walnut stand looks great on my desk, adds function to using my phone, and frees up a bit of space and wire clutter. The 3 piece design is clean and smooth, and the pieces attach easily and securely, holding my phone in both portrait and landscape. There are a couple of downsides for my use, but both personal taste and neither big enough to not recommend this product. First, while there is a groove along the bottom to conceal the charge cord, the design of the phone cradle is not high enough from the base to allow for easy use of a reinforced charge cord, and is too thick to be able to use a 90 degree cord. Second, the angle of the stand is a bit too close to vertical for my phone, especially because I have a case with a kickstand. All in all, I am very happy with this product.

Simple Concept, Beautifully Executed
I’ve been wanting a phone stand for my iPhone for years, no exaggeration, and while it’s a pretty simple concept there’s a lot of junk out there and I figured my best option was to just make one myself with everything I’d want in a phone stand, but I never had time to do it. Well no need, because the folks at Lucky Bean really nailed the design on this Lucky Bean Wood Phone Stand, this is a really well thought out and beautifully executed design. First thing, the Black Walnut wood is gorgeous. I’ve worked it with it in my shop so I know it well, and they didn’t cut corners and use some cheaper scrap cutoffs, this was made with beautifully figured premium selects which actually surprised me at this price point which I’m happy about because this looks great on my desk. The finish is perfect, there’s not a rough spot on any piece, all smooth faces, nice clean edges, very well done. And finally, the attention to detail on the overall design really goes above and beyond what you would expect on a very simple concept. It’s a three piece setup with the base, backing board and the smaller phone support piece. That last part has a lip on it to hold the phone in place, a cutout in the middle for a charging cord to fit through, it fits perfectly into a slot on the backing board and actually has rare earth magnets to hold it in place, nice touches all around. The base board also has a cutout channel for the cord and silicone feet to keep the unit from sliding. It does have a fixed angle so no adjustability there, but the angle they went with is ideal for desk kitchen counter placement so its not an issue for me and it’s a solid fit, very study. I’m thrilled, again something so simple but very useful, makes seeing msgs pop up on my desktop in clear sight, or in the kitchen when I’m reading recipes or watching videos off my phone while cooking. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer looking stand, really great job!

nice looking stand, just don’t move it much
nice looking stand, weird name. thankfully, i keep my phone vertical so i rarely see it, and even sideways it only shows under bright lights. it’s solid walnut, not plastic, and feels high quality.setup was simple, and it holds my iphone 14 pro max securely. the angle isn’t adjustable and cord management could be better, but it’s stable and looks great on my desk. just don’t try to move it without your phone in it, or it’ll come apart. for the price, it’s a stylish little stand that does the job.
